Apple Crisp Macchiato
We agree, Pumpkin Spice is everything nice, but it isn't the only fall flavor to enjoy. Combine the comforting taste of Apple Crisp with Wide Awake Coffee for this delicious treat.

Ingredients
3 tablespoons spiced apple syrup
3/4 cup Wide Awake Coffee Co. Cold Brew Unsweetened Espresso Blend, chilled
1/4 cup Wide Awake Coffee Co. Salted Caramel Dairy Creamer
Whipped Cream
Caramel Sauce
Ground Cinnamon
Cinnamon Sticks (optional)
Spiced Apple Syrup Ingredients
1 apple, sliced
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple juice
3/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
1. For the apple syrup, simmer the sliced apple, brown sugar, apple juice, water and spices in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the liquid is reduced by half and is syrupy, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat, let cool, then strain into a clean jar. Stir in the vanilla.
2. To make a macchiato, measure the spiced syrup into a serving glass. Fill the glass with ice, then add the cold brew. Slowly pour the creamer on the coffee (pout it into the glass over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect), then top with whipped cream, caramel sauce and sprinkle with cinnamon (add a cinnamon stick if desired). Serve immediately.
